So its been what.. 5, 6 months? I know its been that long b/c thats about how long I've been dating my current beau/old man (he's about 20yrs older than me). HAHAh.. talk about your irony. It was like as soon as I rid myself of men, I got one. Well first I got a job working at this bar in the city... then I got persistently pursued by one of the owners.. then we went on a really really great date... then i got stuck.. for about a month and half we were in wonderful relationship bliss...then we fought every other day... then i broke up with him..for about 2 days.. then he broke up with me... for about a day.. then we were straight for about.. hmm 2 months or so... well probably longer.. then i got mad at him.. like really mad.. and i broke up with him on Sunday.. well I tried to rather. Ofcourse you know I went back to my good ole fail-safe.. the email. Whats funny is that at first, he didnt get the email on his blackberry... and like a dumbass I sent it again. lets say that was around like 3:30... He calls me around 6:30 like I can't believe you broke up with me in an email.. I start crying.. he's like are you sure you're not overreacting b/c of last night (he got drunk, missed our plans.. i got pissed)... I'm like its more than that..
him: Ive never been broken up with before, I thought that I was doing better, I'm so devastated....
me: I mean.. its just so much stuff..
him: you know if I let this ride I'm going to miss you..
me: huh? If you let this ride? what are you saying you would ignore my decision..
him: I don't want to break up..
me: oh.....
him: why are you crying? this was your decision...
me: I know.. but.. I don't know..
him: bout to walk into the club, can I call you when I walk out?..
me: sure..
Ok.. so there was def more to the convo than that.. but a couple hours later I end up riding with him to take his friend home... then he's like do you want to go to the drive in? (was where we ended up at on our first date) [no not for sex!] so we basically went on a date instead of breaking up.. we didnt really talk about much.. we saw Four Christmases (HILARITY!!!) and the end of Cadillac Records.. (Beyonce was a bit of a disappointment).. and I pretty much knew that my attempted break up wasnt going to stick. lol.. I wasnt going to be able to hold it up. So yeah by Tuesday we pretty much were back to normal.. we even had another date night which was very fun lol ;-).. I say even had another b/c he is like seriously a work-a-holic and has little free time most days.. like he def postponed at least 3 work things to do our date night.. which means that ofcourse I havent gotten to see him since Tuesday.. but we do have plans tomorrow night since I'm going out of town for Christmas on Sunday. anywho.. thats the brief update on me for now.. I'm def gonna make an effort to be more active on the blogging again.. until next time.
